Talking to us was ANDREJ MIHOLIČ, the comic's editor, of the EU Parliament Office in Ljubljana. The comic was published by the EU Parliament Office in Slovenia in cooperation with illustrator CIRIL HORJAK. In the shadows of the ongoing deadly conflicts in Gaza and Ukraine, the UN Security Council managed to pass two resolutions dealing with another crisis in Sudan. The Security Council adopted two resolutions. Slovenia voted for both. The first calls for a ceasefire during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan and the second calls for extending the mandates of the experts overseeing the sanctions against Sudan. The Nobel prizes have been given out since 1901. It originally included five prizes: Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Literature and Peace. A sixth prize for achievements in the field of Economics was included in 1969.
