Three minors sustained serious lifelong injuries after the use pyrotechnics during the New Year holidays. Two of them lost an arm while one sustained severe head injuries and will most likely lose sight in one eye. The police recorded a total of 120 violations during the holiday period and seized just over 6,000 illegal pyrotechnic devices.
